YES! We heard it too! From reliable sources... The live DVD from the Buenos Aires concert recorded on December 4, 2009 will be released before this summer (probably April) and it will include lots of extras (probably an entire extra disc!).

December 2008: the early days of AC/DC Abruzzo

December 2010 (85 AC/DC shows after...)

2 years after the first Rustelle Elettriche Night held in December 2008, the founding fathers of AC/DC Abruzzo met again in Città Sant'Angelo (aka The City of Angels of Abruzzo) in the AC/DC Abruzzo headquarters. President Matteo, Secretary General Stefano, Vice President Andrea and Marco (the latter representing AC/DC Italia). Puppy mascot Rosie was also present.

The decision was unanimous: Project AC/DC Abruzzo must continue!

As a matter of fact, it is impossible for us not to express our passion for AC/DC in our everyday life. And we are also aware that what we learned and lived during the Black Ice World Tour will inevitably continue to influence our lives for many years to come...

We also agreed that the blog will continue to be updated according to the original foundations and guidelines of project AC/DC Abruzzo.

The only blog on AC/DC that aims to promote the original and genuine spirit of the Italian region of Abruzzo. A spirit that is always strong and gentle, ironic and pungent, witty and facetious but always incorruptible and loyal to our ancestors' values which we express through our passion for the AC/DC music especially in the occasion of the long awaited BLACK ICE World Tour.

THE THREE PILLARS: SEX FOOD AND ROCK'N'ROLL

SEX - The new adventures around the world of the apprentices of the master Pick up Artists and womanizers KOSP, KOFK, KK (check the blog to find out about these legendary figures). Also with the help of the teachings of Professor Brian Johnson and Rocco "Hard as a Rock" Siffredi.

FOOD - New exclusive rock'n'roll recipes from the Abruzzo region.

ROCK'N'ROLL - Although concert reports will be suspended (at least until the boys decide to come back on stage) we will continue to post exclusive material from our archive (photos, videos and stories). As Arnaud Durieux once said: after attending 85 shows, the biggest non-official/fan based archive of the Black Ice Tour in probably in Abruzzo... :)

Rock'n'Roll Limbo

The Black Ice tour is over. The Black Ice Tour Photo Book reached most of the hard-core AC/DC fans around the world. The "Mistresses for Christmass" are gone... And we are all waiting for some official announcement from the band about the next album/dvd... Is this the beginning of another post-Hammersmith 2003 limbo?

Hopefully not.

The annual meeting of the AC/DC Abruzzo Steering Committee (The Rustelle Elettriche Night 3) with the participation of the Vice President and a Delegation of AC/DC Italia took place in Città Sant'Angelo a few days ago. On the agenda: the celebration of the 3rd year of AC/DC Abruzzo and the discussion on the future of the AC/DC Abruzzo blog.

The Rock'n'roll camper van/tourbus

After the end of the tour, the AC/DC Abruzzo Steering Committee found a good reason to get back on the road for another rock'n'roll adventure. The International AC/DC fan meeting in Geiselwind, Germany organised by the German and Austrian fan clubs and Daily Dirt.

On 14 October we left Roseto degli Abruzzi with a rock'n'roll camper full of food and brand new copies of the Black Ice book. We made a stop in Ospitaletto, near Milan to meet with AC/DC Italia's executive Marcom and discuss antidotes to the withdrawal crisis w've been all experiencing after the last AC/DC gig in Bilbao.

The following day, we hit the road again. After 1300 km we arrived in Geiselwind, one of those small villages of Bavaria where beer is cheaper than water... It was pretty cool to see all those familiar faces again at such well organized meeting. From Stonebreaker to Thomas, from Patrick to Juergen (and many many more!). After travelling the world to see AC/DC we were all there to party and have fun together. There was a nice record fair and then concerts! And at night we got three different cover bands, probably among the best in Europe.

We missed all the others who were at the Berlin pregig party though: from the Rock'n'roll nonno, who couldn't make it, to Ross The Boss, who was home celebreating his birthday! By the way... HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ROSS!!!

The following day we made a short stop in Munich and then another stop in the Trento area, in the North of Italy. You can find some of the best wine makers of the world in this region...

INTERNATIONAL AC/DC FAN MEETING 2010

It was announced to us last June in Berlin the day before the AC/DC gig at the Olympiastadion. The German fans have kept their word: they will organise the biggest fan meeting in the world after the end of the Black Ice Tour!

It will take place in Geiselwind in Bavaria on 15 and 16 October with a series of special AC/DC-related events including a big record fair and several cover band concerts. Hundreds of fans from all over Europe will be there to party together in the name of Rock'n'Roll and AC/DC!

AC/DC Abruzzo will participate in the fan meeting and will also take the opportunity to introduce the BLACK ICE WORLD TOUR 2008-2010 PHOTO BOOK to the International fan community. The book, which will be released worldwide on 15 October, can be viewed and purchased by all the fans who will visit us during the record fair on Saturday, obviously avoiding extra charges for shipping and handling.
